A credit to whom?
|
| Just over 40 years ago I was involved in the formation of the Guild of Television Cameramen as an independent non-profit-making international organisation that cares about television camerawork and the people who make it their craft. The GTC today has over 1,000 members, in the UK, Europe, Australia, Russia, Singapore, South Africa and the USA. The majority work in aspects of television ranging from production through documentary and drama, news and current affairs, sports and light entertainment, to corporate video. |

| Started life as a contemporary dancer, living in Brussels dancing and choreographing for some of the great companies. The aim was always to become a choreographer. Decided to move back to the UK and realized quite quickly I wasn't going to make any money in the UK arts scene so I started to learn about filmmaking. So fast forward 14 years and I now run Redhanded TV, doing a lot of live sport, especially sailing, which I direct with the choreographers eye. |

| James Cullen was working as a studio cameraman for the BBC when he was asked by television quiz show favourite CJ de Mooi to shoot a promo for him. The brief was to showcase CJs enthusiasm for the Porsche 911 Carrera, and Cullen knew that the production standards had to match the engineering excellence of the car. |
